SK Beveren is verheugd jullie een nieuwe speler te mogen voorstellen. Geel-blauw leent David Hrnčár (25) voor de rest van dit seizoen van het Slowaakse Slovan Bratislava. De club bedong ook een aankoopoptie.
David Hrnčár is een Slowaakse flankaanvaller die in 2018 debuteerde voor de hoofdmacht van Slovan Bratislava. Na zijn debuut bij de Slowaakse recordkampioen werd Hrnčár achtereenvolgens uitgeleend aan Pohronie en Zlate Moravce.
In het seizoen ’20-’21 liet de vleugelspeler zich met zes doelpunten en elf assists opmerken in de Slowaakse Fortuna Liga. Bratislava was overtuigd en besloot Hrnčár dit seizoen opnieuw op te nemen in de kern. De winger kwam dit seizoen ondertussen in zo’n 20 wedstrijden in actie. Hij was daarin goed voor zeven goals en hij gaf ook drie assists. Hrnčár mocht afgelopen zomer bovendien invallen in de Conference League.
CEO Antoine Gobin: “Elke inkomende speler moet een onmiddellijke impact hebben in onze strijd om de toppositie. De komst van David is een duidelijk signaal dat we ons team nog steeds proberen te verbeteren.
We hebben in december met Wim en Jordi gesproken over meer onvoorspelbaarheid en meer kracht vanop de vleugels. David past perfect in dat profiel: hij is in staat om vanaf de achterlijn of vanaf de vleugel aan te vallen. Hij is een speler met een ‘grote motor’ die de intensiteit zal hebben die we nodig hebben in de titelstrijd.
Hoewel we David nu huren, hopen we onze gemeenschappelijke doelstellingen te kunnen bereiken zodat hij ook de komende jaren een belangrijk onderdeel van ons team kan blijven.”
Hrnčár zal voor SKB aantreden met het nummer 22.

DAVID HRNCAR JOINS BEVEREN
SK Beveren is pleased to introduce to you a new player! For the remainder of current season, David Hrnčár (25) comes on loan from Slovakian Slovan Bratislava. SKB also negotiated an option to buy.
David Hrnčár is a Slovakian winger who made his debut for Slovan Bratislava in 2018. Afterwards, Hrnčár was successively loaned to Pohronie and Zlate Moravce.
In the ’20-’21 season, the winger made his mark with six goals and eleven assists. This season, Hrnčár played already in 20 games. He scored seven goals and contributed three assists.
This summer, the Slowakian also gained experience as a substitute in the UEFA Europa Conference League last summer.
CEO Antoine Gobin: “Any player coming in needs to give us an immediate impact as we fight for the top spot. Bringing in David is for us a clear signal that we are still trying to improve.
We spoke in December with Wim and Jordi about bringing more unpredictably, more firepower from our wings. David does exactly that: he is able to attack from the back line or the wing, and is a high-motor player who will match the intensity we need from a championship-caliber squad.
Although this is a loan, our hope is that our club and David meet all our objectives so that he can stay a key part of our lions for the years to come.”
Hrnčár will be wearing the number 22.
