PROFCONTRACT VOOR HÜSEYIN ERTÜRK
SK Beveren blijft werk maken van de toekomst. De club biedt de 17-jarige Hüseyin Ertürk zijn allereerste profcontract aan. De spits ondertekende een overeenkomst voor twee seizoenen met een optie op nog een extra jaar.
Hüseyin Ertürk is een Belgische aanvaller met Turkse roots. De spits liet vorig seizoen bij de U18 reeds heel wat fraaie dingen zien. Daarom gaf de club hem de kans om tijdens de voorbereidingscampagne aan te sluiten bij de A-kern. Ertürk liet zien wat hij in zijn mars had en overtuigde zo de sportieve staf van zijn kunnen.
SKB aarzelde niet en beloonde de jongeling met een profcontract. De stevige spits wordt per direct opgenomen in de A-kern. In de voorbereidingswedstrijden mocht hij al geregeld opdraven. Op de fandag konden ook de supporters Ertürk al even aan het werk zien.

“Hüseyin, een stevige spits van amper 17 jaar, genoot een gedeelte van zijn opleiding bij ons. Zo was hij vorig seizoen actief bij onze U18. Samen met een handvol andere jeugdspelers mocht hij de voorbereiding opstarten met het eerste elftal. In die periode is gebleken dat hij in de toekomst een rol van betekenis kan gaan spelen voor SKB. Hij is ondertussen kersvers Turks jeugdinternational geworden en wordt met directe ingang profvoetballer.”
CEO Antoine Gobin:
“Onze sportieve staf was tijdens de eerste weken van de voorbereiding meteen aangenaam verrast. Beetje bij beetje bewees Ertürk zichzelf op training. Zijn traject is een geweldig symbool voor de rest van onze jeugdspelers: toewijding en hard werken lonen!
Hüseyin heeft nog veel stappen te zetten, maar het ondertekenen van zijn eerste profcontract is de eerste stap. We zijn trots om opnieuw een jeugdspeler een contract te kunnen aanbieden en hopen dat nog veel meer spelers uit onze academie ons de komende jaren zullen verrassen.”

PRO CONTRACT FOR HÜSEYIN ERTÜRK
SK Beveren continues to invest in the future. The club has offered 17-year-old Hüseyin Ertürk his very first professional contract. The striker has signed an agreement for two seasons with an option for an additional year.
Hüseyin Ertürk is a Belgian forward with Turkish roots. The striker already showcased many impressive skills last season with the U18 team. Therefore, the club gave him the opportunity to join the A-squad during the preparatory campaign. Ertürk demonstrated what he was capable of and thus convinced the coaching staff of his abilities.
SKB didn’t hesitate and rewarded the young player with a professional contract. The robust striker is immediately included in the A-squad. He was already given playing time in several pre-season matches. On the fan day, supporters also had the chance to see Ertürk in action for a brief period.

“Hüseyin, a 17-year-old striker, underwent a portion of his training with us. Last season, he was involved with our U18 team. Alongside a handful of other young players, he was given the opportunity to kick off the preparation with the first team. During that period, it became evident that he could play a significant role for SKB in the future. He has since become a brand-new Turkish youth international and is now a professional footballer with immediate effect.”

“Hüseyin‘s first weeks in camp with us pleasantly surprised our sporting staff: they were discovering a u18 player from our youth who deserved the chance to practice with our first team. Little by little he proved himself, and his path is a great symbol for the rest of our academy: dedication and hard work pays off.
Hüseyin still has many steps to take, but signing his first professional contract is the first. We’re proud to have another SKB academy product signing his first pro contract with us, and we hope many more in our academy will surprise us in the next years.”
