THIERNO BARRY TREKT NAAR FC BASEL

Thierno Barry (20) verlaat de Freethiel. De topschutter en ‘speler van het seizoen’ trekt naar het Zwitserse FC Basel. De Zwitserse topclub neemt Barry definitief over.

SKB haalde Barry in de zomer van 2022 naar de Freethiel. De Fransman ontbolsterde het afgelopen seizoen helemaal. In zijn gekende stijl ging hij wekelijks op zoek naar doelpunten. Barry slaagde in zijn opzet, hij liet het afgelopen seizoen de netten maar liefst 20 keer trillen. De prestaties van de spits bleven niet onopgemerkt. Heel wat teams toonden interesse, uiteindelijk trok het Zwitserse Basel aan het langste eind.

De club staat erop de aanvaller te bedanken voor zijn inzet en vele doelpunten het afgelopen seizoen. We wensen Barry nog veel succes toe in zijn verdere carrière!

THIERNO BARRY LEAVES SK BEVEREN

Thierno Barry (20) is leaving the Freethiel. The top scorer and ‘player of the season’ is moving to Swiss club FC Basel. The Swiss top club is acquiring Barry on a permanent basis.

SKB transferred Barry to the Freethiel in the summer of 2022. The Frenchman had an outstanding season. With great drive, he went on a quest for goals every week. Barry was highly successful, as he managed to score a total of 20 times. The striker’s performances did not go unnoticed. Many teams showed interest, and ultimately, Barry chose to continue his career at Basel.

The club insists on thanking the forward for his dedication and numerous goals throughout the past season. We wish Barry all the best for the future.
