Na de contractverlengingen voor Hrncar en Everton maakt geel-blauw opnieuw werk van de toekomst. Mathis Servais (18) komt over van Club NXT en gaat bij SKB een nieuwe uitdaging aan. De aanvaller ondertekende een contract voor de komende drie seizoenen met een optie op een extra seizoen.
Mathis Servais begon te voetballen bij de jeugd van Charleroi. Al vlug merkte Club Brugge het talent op. De Bruggelingen slaagden erin de aanvaller al op zeer jonge leeftijd naar West-Vlaanderen te halen. In 2020 zette de Namenaar op amper 15-jarige leeftijd een nieuwe stap in zijn carrière. Ondanks interesse van grote teams als FC Barcelona, AS Roma, Sevilla FC en Olympique Marseille ondertekende hij een profcontract bij Club.
In december 2020 maakte de aanvaller zijn debuut bij Club NXT. Hij werd daarmee de jongste debutant ooit in Eerste Klasse B. In totaal kwam Servais 25 keer in actie. Daarin wist hij vier keer te scoren, hij was ook goed voor twee assists.

After extending the contracts of Hrncar and Everton, the club is once again focusing on the future. Mathis Servais (18) is joining SKB from Club NXT to take on a new challenge. The striker has signed a contract for the next three seasons with an option for an additional season.
Mathis Servais started playing football in the youth academy of Charleroi. Club Brugge quickly noticed his talent, and they managed to bring the forward to West Flanders at a very young age. In 2020, at just 15 years old, the striker took another step in his career. Despite interest from big teams like FC Barcelona, AS Roma, Sevilla FC and Olympique Marseille, he signed a professional contract with Club.
In December 2020, the forward made his debut for Club NXT, becoming the youngest debutant ever in the First Division B. He made a total of 25 appearances, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
