WELKOM OP DE FREETHIEL, GABRIEL KYEREMATENG!
SK Beveren verwelkomt vandaag met trots opnieuw een nieuwe speler. Gabriel Kyeremateng (24 jaar, 1,83m) komt de geel-blauwe rangen versterken. De centrumspits ondertekende op de Freethiel een contract voor de komende drie seizoenen met een optie op een extra jaar.
Gabriel Kyeremateng werd opgeleid door de Duitse topclub Borussia Dortmund. In de zomer van 2018 maakte de spits de overstap naar de U21 van het Engelse Stoke City. In oktober 2020 trok hij naar Zwitserland om bij FC Thun aan de slag te gaan. FC Thun treedt aan in de Challenger League, de op een na hoogste Zwitserse afdeling.
De Duitse spits werd bij FC Thun al snel een vaste waarde. In drie seizoenen kwam hij in maar liefst 103 wedstrijden in actie. De aanvaller kan terugblikken op een bijzonder geslaagd seizoen 2022-2023. Hij scoorde maar liefst 16 goals en was ook goed voor 6 assists.

Zijn jeugdopleiding genoot hij bij de gerenommeerde academie van Borussia Dortmund, alvorens hij voor een avontuur bij Stoke City koos. Gabriel is een Duitser met Ghanese roots wat zorgt voor een bijzonder interessant profiel. De combinatie van Ghanees explosief DNA met de werkethiek en ‘Gründlichkeit’ wat we van een Duitser mogen verwachten lijkt ons een goede cocktail om ons offensief compartiment te komen versterken. We kijken ernaar uit om hem in een geel-blauw tenue te zien verschijnen. Welkom, Gabriel!”

GABRIEL KYEREMATENG JOINS BEVEREN!
SK Beveren proudly welcomes another new player. Gabriel Kyeremateng (24 years old, 1.83m) joins the team. The center forward signed a contract for the next three seasons with an option for an additional year at the Freethiel.
Kyeremateng started playing football in his hometown at local team Eintracht Dortmund. In 2007, he joined the youth academy of Borussia Dortmund and moved through the youth teams of the club. In the summer of 2018, the striker made the move to the U21 team of Stoke City in England. In October 2020, he moved to Switzerland to join FC Thun. FC Thun competes in the Challenger League, the second-highest division in Switzerland.
The German forward quickly became a key player at FC Thun. In three seasons, he played in an impressive 103 matches. The striker can look back on a very successful season 2022-2023. He scored an impressive 16 goals and also provided 6 assists.

The striker was trained at the youth academy of Borussia Dortmund. Gabriel is a German with Ghanaian roots, which makes his profile very interesting.
